New York High School Lacrosse - Archbishop Stepinac drops to Iona Prep

The Iona Prep Gaels triumphed over the visiting Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders lacrosse team by a tally of 24-6 in Saturday's league game.

Next up, the Gaels play the St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 29. Iona Prep will attempt to improve on its 10-2 season record. The Friars come into the game with a 4-1 record after their 11-10 league loss to Chaminade (Mineola, NY).

The Crusaders (1-5) will now prepare for their game against Fordham Prep (Bronx, NY). The Rams come into the Catholic - Island game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Fordham Prep notched a victory over Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI), 12-7, in a league game.
