In Saturday's non-league test, the Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN) softball squad overwhelmed the host Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA), by a count of 7-2.

Next, the Tornadoes meet the Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 26. Alcoa will attempt to upgrade on its 26-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the test with a 9-2 record after their 14-0 league win over Graham (Bluefield, VA).

The Bulldogs (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Powell (Powell, TN). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 16-7 record. In their last test, Powell held off Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN), 1-0, in a league test.
