St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD), 10-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, St. John's improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Cadets host St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD) to play the Knights in a Washington Catholic game on Monday, April 28. The Knights enter the game with a record of 12-3. St. Mary's Ryken won 9-0 in their recent non-league game against Northern (Owings, MD)

The Mustangs now hold a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Bishop Ireton for a Washington Catholic game on Tuesday, April 29. Bishop McNamara will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-7.
