Michigan High School Softball - Calumet bounces Menominee

In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Calumet Copper Kings softball team scored a nice 23-13 win over the Menominee Maroons.

The Copper Kings (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Hancock (Hancock, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Western Peninsula match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Hancock notched a victory over Niagara (Niagara, WI), 12-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Maroons battle the Kingsford Flivvers (Kingsford, MI) in a Great Northern U.P. match, on Friday, May 9. Menominee will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
