Montana High School Softball - Sentinel edged by Capital

April 26, 2025: Helena, MT 59601

Capital Bruins (Helena, MT) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sentinel Spartans (Missoula, MT), 7-6 in a league game.

With the triumph, Capital improves its record to 4-9 on the year. The Bruins travel to Great Falls (Great Falls, MT) to play the Bison in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 29. The Bison enter the game with a record of 3-9. Great Falls lost 9-7 in their recent league game against Skyview (Billings, MT)

The Spartans now hold a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Big Sky for a AA Western bout on Wednesday, April 30. Sentinel will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 13-3 league win over Flathead (Kalispell, MT). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.
