The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors softball team scored 27 runs and held the visiting Chaparral Lobos to 2 in the Desert Warriors league win on Saturday.

The Desert Warriors now sport a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deming for a 4A District 3 battle on Tuesday, April 29. Santa Teresa will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Silver (Silver City, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-14.

With the loss, Chaparral moves to 4-18 on the season. The Lobos host Silver (Silver City, NM) to confront the Fighting Colts in a 4A District 3 battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Fighting Colts come into the battle with a record of 19-4. Silver won 7-0 in their recent league battle against Deming (Deming, NM)
