Indiana High School Softball - Chesterton sneaks past New Prairie

The Chesterton Trojans softball team scored 9 runs and held the host New Prairie Cougars to 8 in the Trojans non-league win on Saturday.

The Trojans now possess a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Michigan City for a Duneland battle on Tuesday, April 29. Chesterton will confront a Wolves team coming off a 17-1 non-league loss to South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN). The Wolves record now stands at 0-10.

With the loss, New Prairie moves to 11-5 on the season. The Cougars host South Bend Riley (South Bend, IN) to confront the Wildcats in a Northern Indiana battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Wildcats come into the battle with a record of 7-6. South Bend Riley won 16-0 in their recent non-league battle against Elkhart Christian Academy (Elkhart, IN)
