The Eagan Wildcats softball team scored 4 runs and held the host Shakopee Sabers to 2 in the Wildcats league win on Saturday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eastview for a South Suburban Conference battle on Monday, April 28. Eagan will confront a Lightning team coming off a 6-2 league loss to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN). The Lightning record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Shakopee moves to 2-9 on the season. The Sabers travel to Lakeville North (Lakeville, MN) to confront the Panthers in a South Suburban Conference battle on Monday, April 28. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 3-4. Lakeville North won 6-2 in their recent league battle against Eastview (Apple Valley, MN)
