The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Lincolnview Lancers (Van Wert, OH) and the visiting Hicksville Aces (Hicksville, OH), observed Lincolnview's softball team get by Hicksville by a tally of 8-3.

The Lancers (13-2) will now prepare for their bout against Columbus Grove (Columbus Grove, OH). The Bulldogs go into the Northwest bout with a 2-8 record. In their last bout, Columbus Grove was routed by Miller City (Miller City, OH), 7-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Aces clash with the Hilltop Cadets (West Unity, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 28. Hicksville will attempt to advance on its 6-9 season record. The Cadets go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 4-0 league loss to Montpelier (Montpelier, OH).
