Fike Demons (Wilson, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Northern Nash Knights (Rocky Mount, NC), 7-6 in a league challenge.

The Demons now own a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hunt for a Big East 3A challenge on Thursday, April 29. Fike will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Northern Nash falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC) to battle the Gryphons in a Big East 3A challenge on Thursday, April 29. The Gryphons enter the challenge with a record of 3-6. Rocky Mount lost 6-0 in their recent league challenge against Southern Nash (Bailey, NC)
