North Carolina High School Baseball - Newton-Conover loses to Bunker Hill

The Bunker Hill Bears the visiting Newton-Conover Red Devils baseball team by a tally of 6-2 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Bears now hold a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they host Bandys for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A bout on Friday, April 29. Bunker Hill will face a Trojans team coming off a 8-3 non-league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 16-7.

Next, the Red Devils face the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 28. Newton-Conover will attempt to advance on its 5-13 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 16-5 record after their 6-1 league loss to East Lincoln (Denver, NC).
