In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting East Lyme Vikings baseball team scored a tight 15-10 victory over the Ledyard Colonels.
The Vikings (6-4) will now prepare for their game against New London (New London, CT). The Whalers go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division II game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, New London tipped Waterford (Waterford, CT), 8-6, in a non-league game.
The Colonels (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Fitch (Groton, CT). The Falcons go into the Eastern Connecticut - Division I game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, Fitch tipped Woodstock Academy (Woodstock, CT), 13-1, in a non-league game.
