The Prairie Falcons baseball team scored 2 runs and held the visiting Evergreen Plainsmen to 1 in the Falcons league triumph on Wednesday.
The Falcons now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Kelso for a 3A Greater St. Helens bout on Thursday, April 28. Prairie will face a Hilanders team coming off a 6-3 non-league win over North Thurston (Lacey, WA). The Hilanders record now stands at 5-4.
Next, the Plainsmen face the Heritage Timberwolves (Vancouver, WA) in a 3A Greater St. Helens bout, on Thursday, April 28. Evergreen will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Timberwolves enter the bout with a 2-7 record after their 7-1 league loss to Mountain View (Vancouver, WA).
