The Litchfield Cowboys baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Gilbert Yellowjackets to 0 in the Cowboys league victory on Wednesday.
The Cowboys (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Thomaston (Thomaston, CT). The Bears go into the Berkshire match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Thomaston was overwhelmed by Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT), 15-2, in a league match.
The Yellowjackets (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT). The Mountaineers go into the match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Housatonic-Wamogo gained a win over Litchfield (Litchfield, CT), 9-6, in a non-league match.
