In Wednesday's league game, the host Hale Ray Noises baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Old Lyme Wildcats.
The Noises (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Windham (Willimantic, CT). The Whippets go into the non-league game with a 3-7 record.
The Wildcats (4-7) will now prepare for their game against Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Rams go into the Shoreline - Small game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Old Saybrook tipped Westbrook (Westbrook, CT), 19-4, in a league game.
