In Wednesday's league game, the visiting Waynedale Golden Bears baseball team scored a nice 17-1 victory over the Northwestern Huskies.

The Golden Bears (10-4) will now prepare for their game against Tuslaw (Massillon, OH). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Tuslaw ran past Fairless (Navarre, OH), 1-0, in a league game.

The Huskies (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Smithville (Smithville, OH). The Smithies go into the Wayne County Athletic game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Smithville was overwhelmed by Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH), 11-1, in a league game.
