The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) and the host Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA), saw Homestead's volleyball squad nip Lynbrook by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Homestead upgrades its record to 16-1 on the year. The Mustangs host Mountain View (Mountain View, CA) to play the Spartans in a bout on Friday, April 29. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 18-3. Mountain View won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA)

The Vikings now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Cupertino for a bout on Wednesday, May 4. Lynbrook will play a Pioneers squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 15-3.
