Arizona High School Volleyball - Mesquite can't hold off Arizona College Prep

In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Arizona College Prep Knights volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Mesquite Wildcats.

The Knights (19-9) will now prepare for their battle against San Tan Charter (Gilbert, AZ). The Roadrunners come into the 4A Skyline battle with a 3-17 record. In their last battle, San Tan Charter nudged Leading Edge Academy - GEC (Gilbert, AZ), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky battle, on Thursday, April 28. Mesquite will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Sentinels come into the battle with a 15-12 record after their 3-0 league win over Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ).
