The Wasatch Wasps lacrosse team scored 12 points and limited the host Maple Mountain Golden Eagles to 5 in the Wasps league triumph on Wednesday.
The Wasps (5-3) will now prepare for their game against Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT). The Dons enter the 5A Region 9 game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Spanish Fork was overwhelmed by Salem Hills (Salem, UT), 12-7, in a league game.
The Golden Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Payson (Payson, UT). The Lions enter the 5A Region 9 game with a 9-0 record. In their last game, Payson edged Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT), 9-3, in a league game.
