North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Marvin Ridge held off by Weddington

April 27, 2022: Matthews, NC 28104

Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) boosters exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC), 13-12 in a league battle.

The Warriors now own a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sun Valley for a Southern Carolina/Rocky River battle on Thursday, April 28. Weddington will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Butler (Matthews, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 10-7.

In their next game, the Mavericks clash with the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a Southern Carolina/Rocky River battle, on Thursday, April 28. Marvin Ridge will attempt to advance on its 11-6 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the battle with a 0-15 record after their 15-5 league loss to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC).
