The Oak Grove Grizzlies soccer team (Winston-Salem, NC), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Wednesday's league outing with the host Asheboro Blue Comets (Asheboro, NC)
With the win, Asheboro advances its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Blue Comets host Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league outing on Thursday, April 28. The Cougars go into the outing with a record of 12-3. Southwestern Randolph won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Randleman (Randleman, NC)
In their next game, the Grizzlies play the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A outing, on Monday, May 2. Oak Grove will attempt to advance on its 5-8 season record. The Black Knights go into the outing with a 10-4 record after their 9-0 league win over Montgomery Central (Troy, NC).
