The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Lejeune Devil Pups (Camp Lejeune, NC) and the visiting Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC), saw Lejeune's soccer squad get by Southside by a margin of 1-0.

The Devil Pups now sport a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to East Carteret for a Coastal Plains 1A/2A test on Monday, May 2. Lejeune will meet a Mariners squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Southside (Chocowinity, NC). The Mariners record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Southside drops to 5-8 on the season. The Seahawks host Cape Hatteras (Buxton, NC) to meet the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Friday, April 29. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 0-8. Cape Hatteras lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against Perquimans (Hertford, NC)
