The crowd at Wednesday's league test between the Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC) and the visiting Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC), saw Owen's soccer squad triumph over Mitchell by a count of 7-0.

The Warhorses now hold a 6-5 record. They play next when they host Draughn for a Western Highlands 1A/2A test on Friday, April 29. Owen will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Avery County (Newland, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Mitchell drops to 0-7 on the season. The Mountaineers host Draughn (Valdese, NC) to meet the Wildcats in a Western Highlands 1A/2A test on Monday, May 2. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 3-5.
