Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), 9-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cave Spring upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 4. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 0-9.
With the defeat, Byrd moves to 7-6 on the year. The Terriers host Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Friday, April 29. The Cavaliers go into the match with a record of 11-2. Lord Botetourt won 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Staunton River (Moneta, VA)
