The Carlmont Scots got by the host Half Moon Bay Cougars softball squad by a count of 1-0 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Scots (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA). The Tigers go into the battle with a 3-3 record. In their last battle, Terra Nova nudged El Camino (South San Francisco, CA), 17-8, in a league battle.
The Cougars now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Aragon for a battle on Monday, May 2. Half Moon Bay will meet a Dons squad coming off a 8-2 league win over Burlingame (Burlingame, CA). The Dons record now stands at 4-8.
