Garden City Trojans (Garden City, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Mepham Pirates (North Bellmore, NY), 19-2 in a league battle.

The Trojans now have a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Manhasset for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 30. Garden City will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 14-8 non-league win over South Side (Rockville Centre, NY). The Indians record now stands at 8-2.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Elmont Memorial Spartans (Elmont, NY) in a Section 8 B - League 2 battle, on Wednesday, May 4. Mepham will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Spartans come into the battle with a 0-4 record after their 9-8 non-league loss to Sewanhaka (Floral Park, NY).
