Wilmington Hurricane (Wilmington, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Talawanda Braves (Oxford, OH), 16-9 in a league battle.

The Hurricane now have a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Xenia for a non-league battle on Monday, May 2. Wilmington will clash with a Buccaneers squad coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Lima Senior (Lima, OH). The Buccaneers record now stands at 0-12.

In their next game, the Braves clash with the Seven Hills Stingers (Cincinnati, OH) in a Region 8 battle, on Saturday, April 30. Talawanda will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record.
