May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC), 1-0 in a league challenge.

The Seahawks now have a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Colleton County for a AAAA Region 7 challenge on Friday, April 29. Hilton Head Island will face a Cougars team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 3-12.
