In Wednesday's league battle, the host Riverside Warriors soccer squad scored a close 5-0 triumph over the James F. Byrnes Rebels.
The Warriors (16-1) will now prepare for their battle against Woodmont (Piedmont, SC). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Woodmont Mauldin (Mauldin, SC), 1-1, in a league battle.
The Rebels (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Laurens (Laurens, SC). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Laurens was overwhelmed by Dixie (Due West, SC), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
