Porter-Gaud Cyclones (Charleston, SC) supporters were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Wilson Hall Barons (Sumter, SC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cyclones confront the Pinewood Prep Panthers (Summerville, SC) in a SCISA AAA Region II challenge, on Tuesday, May 3. Porter-Gaud will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record.
The Barons now possess a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Laurence Manning Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 28. Wilson Hall will confront a Swampcats team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Camden Military (Camden, SC). The Swampcats record now stands at 0-13.
