The Newton South Lions (Newton, MA) softball routed the visiting Boston Latin Wolfpack (Boston, MA), 13-1 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA). The Warriors go into the Dual County Large bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Lincoln-Sudbury notched a victory over Cambridge Rindge & Latin (Cambridge, MA), 12-6, in a non-league bout.

The Wolfpack now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Westford Academy for a Dual County Large bout on Friday, April 29. Boston Latin will confront a Grey Ghosts squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Weston (Weston, MA). The Grey Ghosts record now stands at 6-0.
