The Branford Hornets softball team (Branford, CT), was routed 18-7 in Wednesday's non-league test with the visiting Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT)
Coming up next, the Trojans encounter the Mercy Tigers (Middletown, CT) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 28. Lyman Hall will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Lauralton Hall (Milford, CT).
The Hornets (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Amity Regional (Woodbridge, CT). The Spartans come into the non-league test with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Amity Regional overcame Hand (Madison, CT), 10-3, in a non-league test.
