The Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers routed the visiting Chrisman Cardinals softball squad by a count of 26-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Tigers (12-1) will now prepare for their battle against Marshall (Marshall, IL). The Lions go into the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Marshall topped Cumberland (Toledo, IL), 12-6, in a non-league battle.

The Cardinals now sport a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Watseka for a Vermilion Valley battle on Monday, May 2. Chrisman will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 9-6.
