The Pearl City Wolves routed the host Durand Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 11-3 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Wolves (15-5) will now prepare for their battle against Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL). The Indians go into the NUIC East battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Pecatonica was routed by Pearl City (Pearl City, IL), 15-3, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs now sport a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Dakota for a NUIC East battle on Thursday, April 28. Durand will meet a Indians squad coming off a 17-7 non-league win over Byron (Byron, IL). The Indians record now stands at 6-2.
