Lakeville North Panthers (Lakeville, MN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN), 10-5 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Apple Valley for a South Suburban Conference challenge on Thursday, April 28. Lakeville North will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Shakopee (Shakopee, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Eagan falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Rosemount (Rosemount, MN) to battle the Irish in a South Suburban Conference challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Irish enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
