In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Franklin County Rebels (Winchester, TN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting LaVergne Wolverines (LaVergne, TN), by a margin of 9-1.

With the triumph, Franklin County moves its record to 10-10 on the year. The Rebels travel to Coffee County Central (Manchester, TN) to play the Red Raiders in a 4A District 6 contest on Thursday, April 28. The Red Raiders come into the contest with a record of 18-12. Coffee County Central won 4-1 in their recent league contest against Warren County (McMinnville, TN)

In their next game, the Wolverines play the Antioch Bears (Antioch, TN) in a 4A District 8 contest, on Thursday, April 28. LaVergne will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record. The Bears come into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 16-14 non-league win over Hunters Lane (Nashville, TN).
