The Nestucca Bobcats softball team scored 9 runs and limited the host Gaston Greyhounds to 6 in the Bobcats league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Nestucca improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Bobcats host Perrydale (Amity, OR) to clash with the Pirates in a 2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 game on Thursday, April 28. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 3-4. Perrydale won 17-7 in their recent league game against St. Paul (St. Paul, OR)

In their next game, the Greyhounds clash with the Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) in a 2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 game, on Friday, April 29. Gaston will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Loggers come into the game with a 9-3 record after their 9-3 league win over Neah-Kah-Nie (Rockaway Beach, OR).
