Holliston Panthers (Holliston, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Norwood Mustangs (Norwood, MA), 7-6 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dedham for a Tri-Valley challenge on Thursday, April 28. Holliston will battle a Marauders squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Bellingham (Bellingham, MA). The Marauders record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, Norwood falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Millis (Millis, MA) to battle the Mohawks in a Tri-Valley challenge on Friday, April 29. The Mohawks enter the challenge with a record of 3-4.
