In Wednesday's league contest, the Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) softball team held off the visiting Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, Milpitas moves its record to 15-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Los Gatos (Los Gatos, CA) to play the Wildcats in a De Anza contest on Wednesday, May 4. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 20-2. Los Gatos won 8-1 in their recent league contest against Homestead (Cupertino, CA)
In their next game, the Mustangs play the Los Gatos Wildcats (Los Gatos, CA) in a De Anza contest, on Friday, April 29. Homestead will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 19-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Silver Creek (San Jose, CA).
