The Patriots now own a 16-14 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mountain Brook for a 6A Area 9 challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Homewood will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Shades Valley (Birmingham, AL). The Spartans record now stands at 16-14.

With the loss, Shades Valley falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Mounties host Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 15-14. Mountain Brook won 17-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL)
