Minor Tigers (Adamsville, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Jackson-Olin Mustangs (Birmingham, AL), 20-9 in a league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jasper for a 6A Area 10 challenge on Thursday, April 21. Minor will face a Vikings squad coming off a 18-13 non-league loss to Haleyville (Haleyville, AL). The Vikings record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Jackson-Olin falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Parker (Birmingham, AL) to face the Thundering Herd in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 21. The Thundering Herd enter the challenge with a record of 16-12. Parker lost 19-0 in their recent league challenge against Leeds (Leeds, AL)
