LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers (LaSalle, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Plano Reapers (Plano, IL), 22-0 in a league challenge.

The Cavaliers now own a 15-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Normal Community for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 29. LaSalle-Peru will battle a Ironmen squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Urbana (Urbana, IL). The Ironmen record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Plano falls to 1-16 on the campaign. The Reapers host Coal City (Coal City, IL) to meet the Coalers in a non-league match on Thursday, April 28. The Coalers go into the match with a record of 8-10. Coal City won 10-9 in their recent non-league match against Seneca (Seneca, IL)
