Murphy Panthers (Mobile, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host LeFlore Rattlers (Mobile, AL), 18-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairhope for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 3. Murphy will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Robertsdale (Robertsdale, AL). The Pirates record now stands at 35-2.

With the loss, LeFlore falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to Rain (Mobile, AL) to battle the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 2-8. Rain lost 17-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Davidson (Mobile, AL)
