Loyalsock Township Lancers (Williamsport, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Southern Columbia Area Tigers (Catawissa, PA), 17-0 in a league challenge.

The Lancers now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bloomsburg for a Heartland II challenge on Thursday, April 28. Loyalsock Township will face a Panthers squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Executive Education Academy Charter School (Allentown, PA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Southern Columbia Area falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA) to face the Defenders in a Heartland II challenge on Thursday, April 28. The Defenders enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Warrior Run lost 6-5 in their recent league challenge against Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA)
