In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Monomoy Sharks (Harwich, MA) softball team overwhelmed the host St. John Paul II Lions (Hyannis, MA), by a margin of 26-3.
With the triumph, Monomoy moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Sharks host Sturgis East (Hyannis, MA) to play the Storm in a non-league contest on Friday, April 29. The Storm come into the contest with a record of 3-0.
In their next game, the Lions play the Nauset Regional Warriors (North Eastham, MA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 2. St. John Paul II will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 0-4 record after their 14-2 league loss to Falmouth (Falmouth, MA).
