Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY) and the host Prestonsburg Black Cats (Prestonsburg, KY), witnessed Morgan County's softball squad tip Prestonsburg by a count of 11-8.

The Cougars now sport a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Powell County for a non-league match on Thursday, April 28. Morgan County will face a Pirates squad coming off a 10-3 non-league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 3-9.
