Washington High School Softball - Nooksack Valley bounces Mt. Baker

The Nooksack Valley Pioneers routed the host Mt. Baker Mountaineers softball squad by a final score of 10-1 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Pioneers (12-0) will now prepare for their battle against Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA). The Tigers go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Burlington-Edison notched a victory over Blaine (Blaine, WA), 3-2, in a league battle.
The Mountaineers now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Sedro-Woolley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Friday, April 29. Mt. Baker will meet a Cubs squad coming off a 17-0 league win over Meridian (Bellingham, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 11-1.
