In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Notre Dame Titans (Portsmouth, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Russell Red Devils (Russell, KY), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Notre Dame moves its record to 11-0 on the year. The Titans travel to Clay (Portsmouth, OH) to play the Panthers in a Southern Ohio I contest on Thursday, April 28. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 10-5. Clay lost 16-1 in their recent non-league contest against Unioto (Chillicothe, OH)
In their next game, the Red Devils play the Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) in a District 63 contest, on Thursday, April 28. Russell will attempt to move on its 5-17 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 19-1 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Bath County (Owingsville, KY).
