In Thursday's league game, the host North Shore Country Day Raiders baseball team scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Elgin Academy Hilltoppers.
The Raiders (7-4) will now prepare for their game against Elgin Academy (Elgin, IL). The Hilltoppers go into the Independent School game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Elgin Academy was overwhelmed by Northridge (Niles, IL), 15-4, in a league game.
The Hilltoppers (3-4) will now prepare for their game against North Shore Country Day (Winnetka, IL). The Raiders go into the Independent School game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, North Shore Country Day ran past Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL), 16-12, in a league game.
