Michigan High School Baseball - Standish-Sterling defeats Ithaca

Spectators at Thursday's non-league battle between the Standish-Sterling Panthers (Standish, MI) and the host Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI), saw Standish-Sterling's baseball squad knock off Ithaca by a count of 7-2.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI) in a Tri-Valley - 10 battle, on Monday, May 1. Standish-Sterling will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Chargers enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 6-5 league loss to Millington (Millington, MI).
